What to Expect as an Acres Resident

At Acres of Diamonds, we provide a structured, supportive environment designed to help families build a foundation for long-term stability and success.

 

Weekly Support & Life Skills Development

Residents meet regularly with their case manager and participate in life skills classes that cover topics such as:

Healthy boundaries
Parenting
Financial stewardship
Conflict resolution
Identity development
Community resources

 

Mental Health & Wellness

Residents participate in weekly counseling, and therapeutic services are available for children based on their needs.

 

Employment & Education

Residents are expected to work toward financial stability through employment, education, vocational training, or career development opportunities as outlined in their individualized program plans.

 

Community Living

Families live in a supportive community and share responsibilities that help develop practical life skills and strengthen independence.

 

Children’s Services

Children participate in age-appropriate activities and programming that support learning, creativity, healthy development, and emotional well-being.

 

Recovery Support

For residents in recovery, participation in approved recovery programs and recovery counseling is part of the program experience.
