If you’re a construction contractor or building supplier interested in helping homeless families, please join us at our Rescue Home Builders Dinner on Thursday, February 22 to learn about the new Rescue Home we’re building for homeless women and children.
Our Rescue Home project calls for adding a new 16,000-square-foot residence on our Duvall campus. When completed, it will accommodate 15 homeless families. The facility will also include a daycare center and classroom and administrative spaces. We expect to break ground on the project in late spring.
Construction of the Rescue Home is the first phase of our master expansion plan that will more than double our current capacity, enabling 32 families to be safe at Acres at any given time.
At the Rescue Home Builders Dinner, we’ll tell you about the programs Acres has in place that are helping homeless families in powerful ways. We’ll also share construction details for our Rescue Home, and ask for your help in completing this $3.7 million project.
Builders Dinner schedule:
- 5:45 – Doors open
- 6:15 – Complimentary dinner served
- 6:30-8:00 – Program and Q&A
Please register today to learn how your company can help make the Rescue Home a reality for homeless moms and kids. Thank you!
