Senior Director of Operations

Acres of Diamonds is in search of an experienced Senior Director of Operations who will provide support to the Chief Executive Officer by ensuring efficient and productive day-to-day operations of the organization while overseeing the finance, human resources, information technology, and office functions. A successful candidate will have excellent and effective leadership, organizational, administrative, and strategic skills. While collaborating with other Senior directors to ensure goals and strategies are accomplished, this Sr. Director of Operations will also be responsible for developing and implementing operational procedures and systems to better serve our staff and the community of support for moms and kids experiencing homelessness.

 

Kids Program Coordinator

This position requires a highly motivated person who has a passion for serving homeless women and children.  The Kids Program Coordinator oversees Kids Program at Acres of Diamonds under the supervision of the Kids Program Manager.  This includes helping to provide age specific programing for either school aged children or birth through preschool aged children during program nights, some training of volunteers to ensure child safety, run program and be the on-site expert on child safety. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to run programs, troubleshoot issues, empower and oversee volunteers, and provide support to kids with trauma. The position requires a heart of compassion and love for hurting people, and the ability to practice sound judgment and discernment, as they help kids break the cycle of homelessness.

 

Case Manager – Part Time

This position requires a highly motivated person who has a passion for serving women who are in crisis because of homelessness. The Case Manager primarily works with adult residents and former residents to develop an individualized plan focused on eliminating barriers and building lives of stability and self-sufficiency. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to counsel, refer to services, encourage, and guide women who are struggling with issues of homelessness, abuse and domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues. The position requires a heart of compassion and love for hurting families, excellent relational abilities, and the ability to practice sound judgment and discernment while assisting families in establishing and implementing specific goals to transition out of crisis, and grow to stability and a self-sufficient lifestyle. Additionally, the successful candidate will help build an atmosphere of safety and care in the community home, and lead other community members in healthy, supportive involvement supporting the families at Acres.

 

Family Housing Manager – 40 Hours per Week

This role is part of our Family Housing Team which is responsible for carrying out the work needed to support the day-to-day safety and operation of the house including chore and room checks, drug testing, community dinners, and regular house meetings.  In this role you will have the opportunity to serve as a resource and guide, providing spiritual, emotional, and relational support for families recovering from trauma.

 

Donor Relations Manager

The Mid-level Donor Relations Manager is a key member of the Development Team. The focus of this position is to serve a portfolio of mid-level donors by initiating, building and maintaining a dynamic, reciprocal relationship with donors and business owners who partner financially with Acres of Diamonds. Responsible for generating revenue through contributions and charitable giving. Learn and utilize AOD’s relational approach to fundraising through team collaboration and ongoing training. This is a key position to increase revenue and is essential in reaching our goal of breaking the cycle of generational trauma one family at a time.
